Park Info

  • PYO Strawberries is opening soon for the 2026 season. Stay tuned for our opening date annoucement.

  • We have plenty of off-street parking, making it safe and convenient to bring the entire family.

    For larger groups, please contact us to park buses or large numbers of vehicles for a group visit.

    • Apply sunscreen and wear a hat.

    • Stay hydrated with lots of water.

    • Wear closed-toe shoes and farm-friendly footwear.

    • For ZaberriWorld Adventure you must wear socks at all times - so don’t forget them!

    • For Splash Park togs are compulsory - so don’t forget them.

    • Enjoy your time with fellow visitors and members of our team.

    • Dogs are welcome in the common cafe areas, they must be kept on a leash at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the field areas.

  • When is your PYO strawberry season?

    Our PYO strawberry season is from October to April. During peak season, PYO is open 7 days a week from 9am - 5pm, with the last PYO entry at 4pm. 

    Are pets allowed on the farm?

    Pets are allowed around the general picnic areas, but must be on leash at all times. Pets are not permitted inside the PYO fields, Good Planet Cafe, Adventure Park or Splash Park.

    Are your facilities wheelchair accessible? 

    We strive to ensure all our facilities are wheelchair-friendly, including the ice cream shop and cafe. Most paths within PYO are accessible for wheelchair users, however, as we are a working farm the ground can be uneven at times. Please contact us ahead of your arrival if you, or someone in your group, has mobility issues so that we can assist with ease of access to PYO.


    Missing any personal belongings?
    If you are still at the farm, please report this to our team at the PYO or cafe counter. If you have left the farm, please email us with a description of your lost item and we will try to track it down for you!

  • Enjoy a train ride when you purchase PYO entry, around our beautiful berry farm.

    Train departs approx every 20 mins during peak season. Enjoy the ride and stop off at locations for picking strawberries.

 


How To Get Here

Street Address:
Gate 1: 418 State Highway 16, Kumeū 0892, Auckland, New Zealand.

Gate 2: 454 Taupaki Road, Kumeū 0892, Auckland, New Zealand.

Driving:
Good Planet is located on State Highway 16, between Westgate and Kumeū township.

From Auckland, follow the Northwestern Motorway (SH16) towards Kumeū and continue past Westgate. From the North Shore, take SH18 to SH16, then follow the signs towards Kumeū. Look out for the Good Planet signs as you approach the entrance.

Public Transport:
Take Auckland Transport bus routes 122, 123, 125. Alight at the Taupaki Road roundabout bus stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Gate 2 at 454 Taupaki Road.
