We grow delicious Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Boysenberries and Blueberries at our farm in Riverhead for Pick your own experience or we have punnets freshly picked daily from our farm shop. Our Best Berries strawberries are also sold at all major supermarkets.
Strawberries
Our delicious strawberries are available for Pick Your Own and we have fresh strawberry punnets available daily from our farm shop when in season. Our strawberry season runs from October to May. Our strawberries are guaranteed high quality, tasty and naturally delicious.
We currently grow two different varieties of strawberries.
1. Camerosa – This fruit is very sweet and is suited for Auckland weather conditions.
2. Ventana – This variety is a favourite to many due to its great taste and size.
3. Monterey
We work closely with 5+ A Day charity to promote the benefits of eating strawberries. Including strawberries in your diet may improve heart function, boost brain function, improve skin health, reduce high blood pressure and boost immunity.
We also produce a range of artisan products available from our farm shop which include our popular Best Berries strawberry jam, strawberry sauce and frozen whole strawberries - great for desserts, baking and smoothies.
We supply our strawberries wholesale to both the NZ domestic market and the international market, under the Best Berries brand, please get in touch with us if you are interested in our berries.
Raspberries
We grow delicious fresh raspberries in the summer months for Pick Your Own and we have freshly picked punnets available during the season. Our raspberry season runs from November to April.
We also produce a range of artisan products available from our farm shop which include our popular Best Berries raspberry jam and raspberry sauce - great for desserts and baking.
