We grow delicious strawberries at our farm in Kumeu for pick your own experiences, and we have freshly picked strawberries available daily.
Our Best Berries strawberries are also sold at all major supermarkets.
Strawberries
Our delicious strawberries are available for Pick Your Own and we have fresh strawberry punnets available daily from our farm shop when in season. Our strawberry season runs from October to April. Our strawberries are guaranteed high quality, tasty and naturally delicious.
We currently grow several different varieties of strawberries:
1. Camerosa
2. Ventana
3. Monterey
We work closely with 5+ A Day charity to promote the benefits of eating strawberries. Including strawberries in your diet may improve heart function, boost brain function, improve skin health, reduce high blood pressure and boost immunity.
We also produce a range of artisan products available from our farm shop which include our popular Best Berries strawberry jam, strawberry sauce and frozen whole strawberries - great for desserts, baking and smoothies.
We supply our strawberries wholesale to both the NZ domestic market and the international market, under the Best Berries brand, please get in touch with us if you are interested in our berries.
Raspberries & Blueberries
We’ve temporarily paused PYO raspberries and blueberries while we settle into our new Kumeū farm and focus on growing our premium-quality strawberries. We look forward to introducing new PYO raspberry and blueberry varieties at Good Planet in the near future. Stay tuned for updates!

Best Berries is our homemade range of products created on the farm including packaged fresh and frozen strawberries for local and export markets and our range of artisan jams and sauces.
